How do I install mods on my Forge server?

How much RAM does a Forge server need?

More than the other loaders - Forge carries the most overhead. A server with a handful of mods runs well on 5–6GB (Quartz or Iron), mid-size packs want 6–8GB (Iron to Gold), and kitchen-sink packs like All the Mods need 10–12GB (Redstone to Emerald). Since billing is hourly, sizing up costs pennies, and you can change packages anytime.

Can I use Fabric mods on a Forge server?

No - mods are built for a specific loader, so Forge servers run Forge mods only. If your mod list is Fabric-based, host a Fabric server instead; many popular mods ship versions for both loaders.
